Q&A

What is play therapy?

Play-based Occupational Therapy uses toys, games, and play as a way to engage children naturally in developmental skill building. Play therapy is an evidence-based method of motivating children to engage in activities that might otherwise be challenging or frustrating. Activities completed during therapy will be exciting and fun, as children are encouraged to follow their own interests and strengths while the therapist guides them to seek new challenges and learn new skills.
